Relay for Life (Benton County - June 28. 7:00 p.m. on June 28 to 7:00 a.m. on June 29. OUMC Relay for Life is forming a team for the Benton County Relay for Life. We are selling luminarias for the Relay for Life ceremony in memory/honor of loved ones. White $10, purple $25. Order forms can be found at the OUMC Connection Station and by contacting Katie Byers or Vicki Sims. Please contact Katie Byers at byersk723@gmail.com if you are interested in joining the team.
Children's 4th of July Parade - June 30 - 10:45 a.m. worship service. Children can walk or ride their decorated bicycle, wagon, stroller, etc. (decorating will be done at home) Children will line up at 10:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
Upward Soccer Fall Season Evaluations - June 27 or July 15 - 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. For boys and girls 4 years old to 6th grade. Practice begins the week of August 19. The first game is August 24 and the last game is October 12. Registration is $72 before June 27 and $77 after that. Contact the church office at 765-583-4441 for more information.
OUMC Preschool Summer Camp - May 28- August 23, 2013; 6:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. $100 per child per week, minimum 8 week participation. A $75 non-refundable registration fee per child is due with application. See the OUMC Summer Camp section for more details and to get the Registration Form.

Vacation Bible School - July 7 -11- 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. The theme this year is "Kingdom Rock" We are collecting 16.9 oz. plastic water bottles with caps for Vacation Bible School. If you have bottles to donate, please bring them to the church office.
First Responder Conference - September 13 - 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EDT- Meridian Corporate Plaza Two, First Floor Conference Room, 301 Pennsylvania Parkway, Indianapolis, IN 46280. There is no registration fee. 7 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be offered. When individuals or families are impacted by substance or gambling problems, often they first turn to their community of faith. The goal of the conference is to equip clergy, chaplains, laity, Stephens Ministers, Parish Nurses, and Health Care Team Members to respond to these needs. The goal of the conference is to increase awareness of what prevention is, what treatment is, what recovery supports are available, what resources are available to support and provide guidance to those who experience substance or gambling problems, and how to advocate for effective public policy.
